In our league, we roster bat but are allowed to have a courtesy runner for the pitcher or catcher. How do I show this temporary substitution while batting the entire roster?

We roster bat in our Usssa league and use courtesy runners. After the batter is safe on base tap on the base runner and a menu comes up and the courtesy runner option is in the right column towards the bottom. Tap on it and it shows the lineup and we use the last out as the runner, tap on that person hit save and it switches them on the screen.
